Who's on

Molly D. Anderson is a consultant on the interface of science and policy for social justice, ecological integrity and democratic food systems. She is Project Manager of the Wallace Center’s project on indicators of good food, Charting Growth. She served as a Coordinating Lead Author on the North America/Europe section of the International Assessment of Agricultural Science and Technology for Development(www.agassessment.org), and has conducted research and evaluation for several domestic and international organizations. She is especially interested in effective multistakeholder collaborations for sustainability.

Molly was employed by Oxfam America 2002-2005, first as Senior Program Officer and then Interim Director of the US Regional Office. Before that, she was at Tufts University for 14 years as a professor, administrator, partnership builder, and researcher. She co-founded and for five years directed the Agriculture, Food and Environment Graduate Degree Program in the School of Nutrition Science & Policy at Tufts. She also directed the Tufts Institute of the Environment. She was a Faculty Fellow in the University College of Citizenship & Public Service, and a national Food & Society Policy Fellow 2002-2004. She currently has an adjunct faculty appointment at Tufts University and supervises Harvard Divinity School field students. She is also a Senior Wallace Fellow at Winrock International.

Molly serves on the Governing Board of the Community Food Security Coalition; the Advisory Board of the Henry A. Wallace Chair in Sustainable Agriculture at Iowa State University; and the Advisory Board of Toward Tomorrow, a project to promote collaboration between advocates for reform and innovation in public health, medicine, environmental management, sustainable agriculture, and local planning initiatives. She is also on the Editorial Boards of Renewable Agriculture and Food Systems and the Journal of Hunger and Environmental Nutrition.
